Smile Doctors Braces by Dr. Anthony Patel
Dr. Anthony Patel was born in Chicago, Illinois, and he earned two Bachelor of Science degrees — one in Biochemistry and the other Psychology — both with high distinction at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He then attended the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he was one of only two individuals out of a class of more than 100 to receive both Doctor of Dental Medicine and Master of Science in Education degrees concurrently. Dr. Patel was awarded a full scholarship for all four years of study by the United States Navy Dental Corps. Upon completion of his active duty military obligation, he attended the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio, where he received his specialty training in orthodontics and was selected as the Chief Resident.
Dr. Patel has lived in Southlake with his wife and 3 boys for more than 10 years. When not in the office creating spectacular smiles, you will find him out on the town grabbing lunch or dinner with his family, working out at Champions Club at The Marq, playing basketball with his boys or coaching.
Drs. Mariam Razi and Shams Sheikh
Drs. Mariam Razi and Shams Sheikh moved to the area in 2018 from Southern California with their 3 kids. Their son, Humza, is a Senior at CMA and their daughters, Hiba and Haniya, go to Westlake academy. Mariam is an Internal Medicine physician, trained from Boston, and is now a hospitalist at Baylor Scott and White in Grapevine. Shams is a Neuroradiologist, from MGH, and practices out of California and works for the Dallas VA part time. They love education and are honored and humbled to support CMA
Mr. Sanjib Kumar and Dr. Nishi Kumar
The Kumar Family, Sanjib and Nishi, along with their children, Ishan and Rohan, have been Dragons since 2017. Ishan, a Sophomore, is in the CMA program, and Rohan, a 7th Grader, has his eye on CMA too. Both boys would like to become Neurosurgeons when they grow up. Mr. Kumar is n executive at the Boeing company, and Dr. Kumar is an Internal Medicine physician at the Health Texas Physicians Network, Baylor. The Kumar Family has generously sponsored one scholarship this year, which the Boeing company will match.
Vandana Tanneru
The Tanneru Family, Vandana and Sunil, along with their children, Anusha and Arya moved to the CISD school district in 2012. Anusha graduated from CISD in 2019, and is currently a pre-med Junior at Emory University in Atlanta. Arya is a Senior in the CMA program. Vandana works in the advisory services business at Charles Schwab and has been involved with the CMA booster program for the last 3 years. The Tanneru family has generously sponsored one scholarship this year, which the Charles Schwab company will match.

Hemanth Golla is the Founder & CEO of HIgh Circle Ventures, a Venture Capital & Private Equity Firm based in Southlake, TX.

Medrein Health and Aesthetics
Haritha Mikkilineni and Mukesh Madupur are the owners of Medrein Health and Aesthetics Med spa located here in Southlake. They have two children, Junior Yuthi Medupur, and 8th Grader Ayur Medupur. Mukesh is a radiologist, and Haritha had a background in ER medicine before starting Medrein. Harith and Mukesh are proud sponsors of the Carroll Education Foundation.
Lori and Marty Davidson
Lori and Marty Davidson, along with their children, Caitlin, Graham, Grayson, and Carly, have lived in Southlake for the past 17 years. Caitlin graduated from Carroll in 2020 and attends the University of Washington. Graham, Grayson, and Carly are current Dragons, and Grayson is a freshman in th CMA program this year. Marty is a Partner and Chief Accounting Officer at TPG Inc., and Lori s a preschool teacher and volunteers with NCL, YMSL, and various PTOs in the district.
The Ihle Family
The Ihle Family - Mike and Nancy Ihle along with their children, Megan and Alyssa, have lived in Southlake for 12 years. Megan is in CMA, and both are Emerald Belles.
The Balson Family
Anand and Shalini Balson are blessed with three dragons. Abigail is a senior in CMA, marches with the varsity Carroll Dragon Band and sings in the Varsity Carroll Choir. Andrew is a sophomore in CMA and swims on the varsity Carroll swim team and NTN. Annabelle is a second grader at Walnut Grove!
As a family, they enjoy being actively involved in the Dragon Community.
The Ponoth Family
The Ponoth family have been a part of the Southlake community for 4 years. Sweeni is the Corporate Vice President, managing the Global Planning practice at Blue Yonder, an AI Supply Chain company. His wife, Seema, also works at Blue Yonder as Senior Director of Cloud Services. Their daughter Isha will join the CMA program as a freshman next year. Their younger daughter Siah is in 6th grade.

Vine Family Medicine
Vine Family Medicine is a uniquely positioned Family Practice catering for the healthcare needs of residents of Keller, Westlake, Southlake and surrounding areas. Vine Family Medicine is owned by Ochi and Śeun Odumosu who are proud Dragon parents of Vida and Timi. The Odumosus have more than 40 combined years of medical experience and welcome the opportunity to support Carroll students with internships, shadowing positions and scholarships as they pursue careers in science.
Sonal and Neeraj Kalra
Sonal and Neeraj Kalra, along with their children, Arya, Shriya, and Maya Kalra, have made Southlake their home for the past 6 years. Arya and Shriya are Freshmen and in the CMA program, and Maya is in 8th grade and will be part of CMA program next year. Sonal is the owner of Impact Platinum which is an investment company for IT start ups and commercial real estate. Neeraj is an academic physician with UTSW. Sonal and Neeraj are both from Michigan and are avid Spartan fans! Go Green!
