Shadowing Experience: Cardiac Catherization Lab

Over the summer, Yousef had the opportunity to shadow a cardiologist in a cardiac catheterization lab, where he gained firsthand insight into the collaborative nature of patient care. He observed cardiac procedures and learned how each member of the healthcare team contributes to ensuring safe and effective treatment. He also saw how physicians use catheterization and live X-ray imaging to diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions. This experience gave him a deeper understanding of the field of cardiology and strengthened his interest in exploring healthcare as a potential career path.
